Name : Briana
Procedure : All-on-4® Treatment Concept
Rating: 5 Stars
Briana had extremely poor dental health which began when she was a little girl, requiring teeth extractions and root canals even before her permanent teeth grew in. It got to point where Briana had to take countless rounds of antibiotics, and anywhere from 400 mg to 1200 mg of ibuprofen and 500 mg to 2000 mg of acetaminophen a day, because of her declining oral health and constant mouth pain, which started around the age of 17. She was barely able to chew her food for fear of another piece of tooth breaking off, and brushing her teeth had become such a painful process that the rot spread throughout her mouth, leaving only six or seven teeth untouched.
As the recipient of our Smile Again program, Briana received a full-arch restoration. This treatment is the most effective and efficient way of replacing all of a patient's teeth in one procedure. The treatment relies on dental implants, which are placed in the jaw and support the placement of a permanent denture. The restorative dentist custom designs the denture to both look and function exactly like natural teeth. Once Briana received the dental implants and prosthesis, her new teeth would allow her to live a normal life.
At 28 years old, Briana still had her whole life ahead of her. She always loved being around people, and now that she has a new smile, she can be her natural, outgoing self. She no longer panics or feels embarrassed when she has to talk to people or interact in a group. She no longer feels judged for having bad teeth, and does not have to live her life in constant pain. Briana feels like she can truly live again now that she is free from having to hide her smile.
