Patient Testimonials

“When I was born, I had a disease. … It destroyed [my] teeth enamel. … It started to get unhealthy. We got a game plan going, and then we saw the All-on-4 and then the zygoma implant. … Now that I’ve got this beautiful smile, I’m healthier, my face has changed. … It’s just a life-changing experience for me. I recommend anybody to come here and check it out.”

    Nick

“I had wisdom teeth and needed to get them removed. It was just time, they were going to start overcrowding my mouth and it was not going to be a good thing. It went so well. … Next thing you know, I’m in recovery and I’m ready to go home. … The staff is awesome. The whole atmosphere here – I love it.”

    Heather

“I skidded on hardwood floor and smashed the side of my mouth into a table side. We got into the car to go to the office. After I got [stitches], my mouth started to feel better. [They] made me feel glad that [they] were willing to take care of me. I would recommend Boise Oral Surgery.”

    Seth

“My wisdom teeth, you know, I had been putting it off way too long … I had to get them removed. The procedure was great. It was an amazing procedure, I mean I had no issues. I had no problems on recovery. Truly, any of my friends and family in the Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa area, you need to come see Boise Oral Surgery.”

    Jason

“I think it’s got to be one of the best staff[ed] places that I’ve been to. They’re always welcoming, they always answer questions, and they went above and beyond. … The surgeries went great. My son didn’t take any painkillers. I think that has to do with them knowing what they were doing for my son. I would definitely recommend Boise Oral Surgery.”

    Heather

“I had a bridge for years and years, and I looked into getting implants. … [They] gave me the options of what I could do. … The procedure did not take long. The heal time didn’t take long. … It was not invasive, and the healing time was quick, and the results were amazing.”

    Shawn

“At age 57, I had a primary tooth that didn’t have a permanent tooth replacement. [They] extracted the tooth, had to get an implant. That was a really great procedure to get done. The staff is really fun. They’re really friendly and sweet gals. They know you by name when you walk in the door and it’s a very welcoming feeling.”

    Roberta

“I had some major issues with implants that I had done about 20 years ago … my recovery took a little bit of time but it was really worth it. These teeth are beter than anything I’ve had so far through the 20 years I’ve been dealing with implants.”

    Marlene

“When I came in, I just really wanted my wisdom teeth out. They really needed to come out. … I was kind of nervous, but I knew that everything was going to be done and quick. … The staff was really nice, they made me feel like I was comfortable.”

    Dylan

“I had an old crown that broke eating Halloween candy. [They] cleaned up my extraction site and did a bone graft, and recovery went really well. All the girls in the office are just really kind and answered my questions, took my questions, took my phone calls, and helped get the answers I was looking for. I would highly recommend Boise Oral Surgery to all of my friends and family because I had such a positive experience here with my tooth.”

    Emilee

“The staff here is great. They explained things to me ahead of time. Even when I called on the phone, they were very patient with me and understanding. The surgery went well. … I had a great experience.”

    Bill

“I started to have a lot of discomfort in my lower jaw. Through a referral from my dentist, I discovered that I was having tori growth underneath my tongue. … Once [they] explained it, I felt like I had a much better understanding of what would happen, the procedure was a success. The bones were removed from my lower jaw. It feels so much better. Everything is just so much smoother now.”

    Brent

“I had two tooth extractions and a bone graft done here. My recovery from it was very very easy. It was only about, I would say, the next day I was eating and back to my normal self. … My healing, and how quickly I recovered, it makes me feel so comfortable and actually makes me want to refer and have all of my friends and family come [here].”

    David

“They call me by name when I walk in the door. … My surgery went great, everything has healed. Everything has gone smoothly. My overall experience has been wonderful. … Out of five stars, I would give Boise Oral Surgery five stars.”

    D’Ann

“I was experiencing a little bit of pain in my mouth, and it continued to get worse. [They] helped me understand what needed to be done in terms of putting new bone back in there to get the bone grafts finished, and that it could be a pretty quick healing process. … Their willingness to work with me on figuring out a financial plan for me to go through this, since there was a lot that needed to get done. I thought that was really great and really helpful, and it made me feel really comforted.”

    Taylor

“I had a root canal that had cracked and was not going to be able to be fixed, and so I had to come here, and they had the tooth extracted. I ended up needing to have an implant done. It was great. … My recovery went exceptionally well. … I love the staff. I don’t know how they do it, but they know your name, and they greet you. I would definitely recommend anyone come here. “

Common Questions

We're here to help. Below you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about visiting our office, scheduling appointments, and what to expect during your visit.

Request an Appointment
  • How often should I schedule dental appointments?

Most patients should visit every six months for routine checkups and cleanings. However, some patients may need more frequent visits based on their individual oral health needs. We’ll recommend a schedule that’s right for you.

  • What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

Contact our office immediately. For severe emergencies like knocked-out teeth, uncontrolled bleeding, or facial trauma, call right away. For less urgent issues like a lost filling or mild toothache, we’ll schedule you as soon as possible.

  • Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans. We’ll verify your benefits before treatment and provide a breakdown of what your insurance covers and any out-of-pocket costs. We also offer payment plans for patients without insurance.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and offer financing options through third-party providers. We also work with FSA and HSA accounts. Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

  • What is the recovery time after wisdom teeth removal?

Most patients recover within 3-7 days. Swelling and discomfort peak at 48-72 hours then gradually improve. You can typically return to work or school in 2-3 days, but avoid strenuous activity for a week.

  • Will I be asleep during oral surgery?

It depends on the procedure and your preference. We offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or IV sedation. We’ll discuss the best option based on procedure complexity and your comfort level.

  • What can I eat after oral surgery?

Stick to soft, cool foods for the first few days: yogurt, pudding, applesauce, mashed potatoes, smoothies (no straws), and soups (not too hot). Gradually reintroduce solid foods as comfort allows.
