Your First Visit

Boise, Idaho

The first visit to our Boise office consists of an in-depth consultation by Dr. Bobst or a member of our medical team. In many cases, we can provide diagnosis, treatment options, and even treatment on the same day as the initial meeting, barring complex medical history or conflicts stemming from a detailed plan with a prior physician. If this is the case, we will provide treatment options and schedule another appointment for treatment.

Your First Appointment

Patients can help expedite the treatment process by bringing certain information to the first appointment. Please provide the following:

  • Insurance card and completed insurance forms
  • Surgical referral slip
  • X-Rays. Patients may request current physician to send X-rays to our office or bring them to the initial consultation
  • Detailed list of current medications

Patients that will be receiving IV anesthesia for oral surgery must complete a pre-operative consultation and physical examination. At this time, patients will receive detailed instructions on how to prepare for surgery. Our office will follow up with you in the days before the procedure to remind patients not to eat or drink anything the night before the surgery.

Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the consultation visit. If undergoing surgery, underage patients must have an adult present to drive you home.

Patients with medical conditions or a medical history of the following must alert the office in the initial consultation before scheduling or undergoing surgery.
